Years ago, when my great-grandfather started in the farming business things were done differently. Farming used to be more about family than franchising; more about quality of life than quantity of profit. Now we live in a world where corporations have more to say about what we eat than we do.

When I was a young cowboy on my uncle’s 4000 acre ranch in Northern California I was taught the principles and ethics of old-world ranching, just the way my great-grandfather used to run his ranch. At that young age I decided to stay true to my heritage and uphold those old-world values when I bought my own farm someday. To this day, I am dedicated to creating a heritage for my family and not only practicing my great-grandfather’s principals, but teaching them to my sons and daughters.

Raising delicious and wholesome meats is simply a natural result of following these old-world principals passed down for generations. Sure it costs more to farm this way, but as far as I’m concerned... a good heritage is priceless.
